Products
APC defines a product as an item that is truly ready for delivery to and use by our customers. It has been vigorously tested to ensure that the advertised performance parameters will, in fact, be met or exceeded--every time. Our current products are our KTP NLO crystals for SHG and OPO capability.
Our hydrothermal KTP has been subjected to hundreds of continuous hours of 110mW laser input power and at a rep rate of 54kHz, with no evidence of gray track damage. This superior quality KTP will enable laser manufacturers to reach the next level of laser power output.
While today we cannot offer complete turnkey services that include the cutting, polishing, and coating of the crystals we grow, the Company plans to have these capabilities soon. In the mean time, we have solid partnerships with very reputable U.S. companies that provide those types of services if we require them to complete you order.

Applications
APC's NLO crystals have far-reaching application to industry, the U.S. military, and our nation's security. If needed for high energy, APC can produce crystals such as gallium nitride or lutetium oxide that are well-suited to high power applications.
If it's detection of chemicals, biological agents, or explosives, we are the only U.S. source that can produce KBBF, a crystal that enables generation of deep ultraviolet light that is optimum for detecting these types of materials. And if it's for "green light" applications such as range finding, target location and tracking, crime scene analysis, or "dazzling", APC produces the best quality KTP crystal on the market.

Research & Development
In close collaboration with Dr. Joe Kolis at Clemson University, who also serves as APC's Scientific Advisor, we are constantly striving to develop the chemistry necessary for the hydrothermal growth of new NLO crystals. These are typically crystals that have either not been able to be produced before using conventional methods, or else can be produced more efficiently now using our process.
In addition, we continue to refine our autoclave designs with the objective being to continuously improve the quality of the bulk crystals being grown within them. Fewer defects means increased yield which means reduced cost--and that's good for our customers.
